"At the West Bund Art & Design fair, the standout was an independent space managed by an artist. Particularly noteworthy was the presence of the "Foreign Agent" gallery from Switzerland. Established in 2019, this gallery focuses on art from Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Despite being new to the scene, it attracted attention due to its founder, Olivier Chow, who comes from an art-collecting background and has significant personal experience in the art world.
This was the gallery's first time participating in the West Bund Art & Design fair, where they showcased works by New York photographer and artist Shen Wei, alongside French visual artist Ousmane Ba. These artists skillfully merged Eastern themes with an international perspective, offering both a sense of design and the intriguing essence unique to art."
